The Technomancer is an upcoming science fiction-themed action role-playing video game developed by Spiders, who previously developed Mars: War Logs. Both games are set within the same universe and take place on the planet Mars. It will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on June 28th, 2016. According to Spiders CEO and Creative Director, Jeanne Rousseau the game is their largest and most expensive to date. The Technomancer offers players plenty of dynamic combat action based on 4 skill trees dedicated to 3 combat styles and the destructive electrical powers of the Technomancers.
Adventure begins long after the start of colonisation of Mars, which is now a wasteland, with artefacts and relics from bygone era littering the surface of the Red Planet.You play as an apprentice Technomancer, Zachariah, who represents one of the powerful corporations warring for the most precious resource on the red planet: water. The Technomancers are formidable warriors, harnessing destructive electrical powers that are channeled through their implants. You can`t resolve every situation with brute force alone as dynamic dialog system plays a major role in the quests, enabling the player to alter the course of the plot depending on his decisions. The Technomancer doesn`t resolve exclusively around combat; it also offers a rich and effective crafting system enabling the players to  customize both the appereance, effectivness and effect of their weapons. Mars has now been isolated for more than 120 years, and is a world where different communities are in permanent conflict. This is reflected by the weapons and wide range of equipment that is often cobbled together using anything to hand, including recycled items like leather stripes and scrap metal. These seemingly worthless items are more valuable to the Martians than any kind of money. Scour the places you visit, go through the pockets of enemies killed in combat and combine the elements to craft or enhance your armor and weapons and to craft items you can use in combat; stimpacks, mines... 
Humans - looters, bandits and enemy factions - aren`t the only dangers on Mars. If the surface of Mars was once sterile and barren, hundreads of years of human colonisation have resulted in the creation and evolution of legions of hybrid species, designed using genetic materials extracted from Earth animals. This scientific experiment was originally intended to support the Red Planet`s fragile early ecosystem and to serve the needs of the colonists, but it has gone widly out of control since the cataclysm that disconnected Mars and Earth and wiped out nearly al its inhabitants. Although most of the creatures had been bred as domestic animals, they evolved to survive the harsh enviroment on the surface of Mars and developed some potent defence mechanisma - strong poison, natural camouflage and brute force. In the decades the catastrophe these creatures became savage, more agressive and considerably more dangerous and would fiercely defend their territory from human intrusion. You will need full mastery of various combat styles  and all destructible electrical powers you posses to withstand these new and dangerous species.

Each companion has his own story. Get to know them because some will join out of loyalty, others out of mere opportunity... or as a result of a chain of unfortunate events. When you are out there, exploring or fighting, you may select up to 2 companions in your party to come with you. Choose carefully, as they all have their own unique fighting styles that should complement your own, including special talents useful for utility, such as crafting, knowledge in science, or lockpicking. Picking one companion over another thus has a significant impact on the way you play The Technomancer, as well as there is an impact on the story you are living. Your companions all have their agenda or preoccupations. They regularly ask you for help or for favors. Should you decide to accept their requests, you will trigger a special series of missions that let you learn more about their past. These quests follow their unique scenario that enriches the main story. Completing these side quests will add numerous hours of gameplay, and will improve your relationship with your companions...
